Project Management and Politics

As I watch the Democratic presidential candidate debate on CNN tonight, I can’t help but wonder if a run for presidency can be considered a project.  If so, does this make each presidential candidate a project manager?  Please leave your comments and let me know what you think.

I absolutely think a run for the Presidency - or any other positical coampaign - is a project! This is a great topic, and I have done a post on PMcrucnh.com, outlining why, and how the campaign maps to the PMBOK processes. See Is a Political Campaign a Project?

It will be interesting to see if these posts generate some interest, as I think this is a topic that most can relate to, so it provides a good case study inm day to day project management virtually under a microscope.
