PM PrepCast™ Testimonials

What do students say about the Premium PrepCastTM?  Here is a sample of what our students have to say about The Project Management PrepCastTM.  Also, please feel free to visit PMI’s PMP Online Registry where you can verify that the testimonials below come from real PMPs and CAPMs.

Duncan McIntyre, PMP - Canberra, Australia

I am pleased to inform you that I passed my PMP exam on 17 April and I am now a PMP.

The prepcast has been a great resource throughout my study. After listening to your dulcet tones over the last few months, I’ve thought about what you could do better - and there isn’t much. The Prepcast is excellent. One comment - I appreciate some of the more lively examples you have used to illustrate your points and I’d say there are some episodes where some more imaginative examples might help to keep the listener’s focus keen. Things like “I am thumbing through US$10000 right now and I could give it to you now or later” - when talking about NPV, or “I went with the low cost gutters once I understood the difference in price” - in select sellers. More of these creative examples would enhance some podcasts and help the listener to remember the material. Apart from that little piece of feedback, I’d say you define quality in audio education!

Cheers

Duncan McIntyre, PMP!

Ananya Vilaskhamphee, PMP - Bangkok, Thailand

Yesterday I started listening to your Premium PrepCast and I could not wait to mail you a big THANK YOU. It really helps for a textbook-phobia like me. :)

I listen to it while I exercise in the evening and I must say that it turned to be very helpful. I like the times when you ask the audience to guess the processes and other things. Those interactions are things that challenge the thinking and make me remain very active.

And, I’m happy to know that you will be releasing more episodes per day. I will be taking the exam in few months and I do wish that I can listen to all 9 Knowledge Areas and 5 Processes before that so I don’t have to read the textbook. But, I understand that there are rules to follow. I should have registered earlier too. :)

Anyways, the PrepCast would still be useful when I take up a new job where I will apply this knowledge. Thank you again and wish you all the best.

Chris Rygielski, PMP - Columbus, OH, USA

I wanted to let you know that I passed the exam earlier this morning. I really think The Premium PrepCast helped me keep on top of my studies but still allowed me to get other things done around the house and at work. I’d recommend it to anyone preparing for the exam!

Jason Debeniotis PMP - Washington, DC, USA

I would like to wholeheartedly thank you for helping me pass the PMP exam on my 1st try. I started my review about 3 months ago and relied solely on the podcasts, the PMBOK & free online exam questions. I have to admit that even though you recommended it I didn’t sit through a single full length test exam and in the end I found the actual test to be easier than I had originally anticipated. I had my mp3 player on during my daily commutes (60 - 70 min daily) and my evening workouts (30 min). I went over the podcasts at least twice and a few more times on the more challenging processes.

Things I really enjoyed:

  • The format and the concept of the an episode for each process
  • Your style of delivery, never hurried but enough to keep you engaged and able to cover nearly everything of value for the exam
  • Your examples, unconventional at times but proving the point nonetheless
  • The interviews especially with Mr. EV
  • The music in the background, never overbearing but keeping things from getting textbook heavy
  • The layout of each episode with introduction, definition, ITTOs, examples and overview

Things I would have like to see:

  • More great examples. I think that some processes could have benefited from additional real life applications of the concepts.
  • Additional questions. I found a wealth of free online questions that helped me with some concepts that I felt were challenging enough and could be easily included to illustrate points.

Now on with the next certification, the PgMP.

Ron Holohan, PMP - Chicago, Illinois, USA

Ron Holohan, PMP is the founder of www.pm411.org, a Mecca for Project Management. Ron is a subscriber of the Premium PrepCastTM and wrote a review on it:

I have used the PM PrepCast daily for the past month, I have to tell you that this tool, in my opinion, is a must for anyone studying for the exam who leads an active life (walking, jogging, biking, swimming… okay, maybe it wouldn’t work so well while swimming) or finds themselves with lots of “dead time” commuting or traveling. I unfortunately spent a few hundred dollars on a PMP Prep DVD collection from a particular company that didn’t even scratch the surface of what I feel I will need to know in preparation to take the exam. Conversely, the PM PrepCast covers the inputs, tools and techniques, and outputs of each process in great detail with easy to understand examples, exam tips, and even suggestions from those who have recently taken the exam on how to best prepare!

Olivia Ordor, PMP - Rockville, MD, USA

I’m so happy to let you know that I have passed my PMP exam and The Premium PrepCast episodes contributed to 80% of my passing, while 20% goes to other sources. I have told all my friends about The PrepCast and they are buying it. Thank you so much.

Sascha Wyss, PMP - Basel, Switzerland

Yesterday evening I passed the PMP exam after 4 months of intensely learning. The first feeling that I have is a big relieve that it’s over and that I finally have my life back! The second feeling is a deep thankfulness to you - because you walked beside me these four month in the shape of my iPod and taught me all these sometimes very dry issues in a very understandable and entertaining - sometimes even funny way. I understood that it needs more than one source of information to pass this exam, and so the PMBOK and Rita Mulcahy’s “PMP Exam Prep” were also on my daily menu. But your PodCast was definitely the most useful source and I will strongly recommend it to everybody which will ask for my opinion!

Here the main reasons why the PrepCast is so great:

  • You explain everything in a very down to earth way so that it’s easily understandable.
  • You bring many examples so that it’s easy to imagine how to apply the processes
  • You don’t take yourself or the topics all too serious and so it’s fun and entertaining listening to you
  • Because you are Swiss you have a very neutral English which is very good understandable
  • Because you are Swiss, you are not US centristic but you are trying to make your presentation cultural independent
  • Because you are Swiss, I have a hard time understanding why you give away this jewel for only 50 bucks - you could ask 6 times as much and it would still be a bargain! ;-)

I will surely stay a devoted listener of your pmpodcast, send you many greetings from Basel and hope many more PMP students will find the way to you.

Yuliya Pavlukhina, PMP - Moscow, Russia

I’m so glad that I passed PMP exam on 31.10.07. And honestly to say it required particular efforts. At the beginning I was not going to subscribe this PrepCastTM and tried to use some free but than changed my mind because only in this podcast I found what I was really needed in frame of preparation for the exam:

  • good quality of the sound;
  • clear explanation of the materials;
  • examples of how particular theory can be reflected in the potential exam questions;
  • practical exam tips;
  • set of topic not covered by PMBoK but required for the exam (for example, HR theory).
  • And of course, Cornelius’s manner to communicate with the audience which allows people who are preparing to PMP exam doesn’t feel themselves just a “students who must learn a lot of materials” but even have some fun :-).

I would like to thank Cornelius Fichtner - this Project Management PrepCastTM was helpful for me.

Sabyasachi Gupta, PMP - Newark , NJ, USA

I am glad to inform you that I cleared the PMP exam on my first attempt on 15th August. The PM PrepCast has been one of my main sources of study and is definitely a very strong study material to prepare for PMP. Cornelius is a very energetic and knowledgeable speaker. The audio episodes strengthen your understanding of the core concepts required for the exam and in general enhances your project management knowledge. I would highly recommend this series to all PMP aspirants. Thank you very much.

Nicholas Cangiani, CAPM - New York, NY, USA

I just wanted to write very quickly to say that The Premium PrepCast was a crucial part of my study plan as I prepared for the CAPM exam. You really do have an excellent product!

Travis K. Anderson, PMP - Baltic, SD, USA

The PM Prepcast made the PMBOK come to life for me. After reading the PMBOK and the Rita book though completely once, I seriously thought that maybe I should give up on the PMP. Then I ordered The PM Prepcast and did exactly as you suggested. I treated it like a project. So I put away the books made a plan and simply listened to every episode once. Then I made an overview of all the processes in preparation for round two. During round two, I opened my overview and put on my headphones to listen. With my PMBOK in front of me and the Rita book just to the side, The PM Prepcast made everything come together for me. Your tips, suggestions, highlights, summaries, and references all made it into the white space available in my PMBOK.

I studied as you suggested one or two hours a night starting in September. I was randomly audited by the PMI in December and found that to be not as painful as expected. The first thing I did was go to the resource center on The PM Prepcast and read my way through it. After the audit, I set up the date with Prometric. The total time I spent studying was about 160 hours. I read the PMBOK three times, read the Rita book twice and used the Rita flash cards, and listened to The PM Prepcast twice.

I consider you as one of my professors and appreciate what you are doing for us.

Pulkit Shah, PMP - Norwood, MA, USA

I heard your podcast as it was subscribed by one of my friends. I just appeared for my PMP exam last week and I cleared it. I guess lot of credit for my success goes to you. Even as I have already passed the exam, I surely do feel that I should pay for the podcast, for I have used it. So I am going to go ahead and make payment for it. Thanks for creating this podcast. I am sure that this will help lot of people to become PMP.

Amane Nakayama, PMP - Tokyo, Japan

Amane Nakayama is the Co-founder of Arcadia Consulting, Inc. which promotes and provides consulting service of IT management and project management in Japan. He sent us the following testimonial:

I am pleased to inform you that I passed PMP today, November 25th, 2007. Actually, it took me more than half year to pass. And your PM PrepCast helped me a lot, but it paid off. Though I’m not a native English speaker (I’m Japanese), your clear pronounciation and precise grammer helped me to understand 100% of what you are saying. I read PMBOK after I had completed your PM PrepCast, and it worked very well. Your PM PrepCast had given me the idea of what is important about PMBOK.

Only one recommendation from me is to add “ITTO summary” episode which includes every ITTO name of project management processes. I think this kind of feature helps a lot especially at the last minute of study to review all the processes in short time.

Thank you, and I will continue to listen to The Project Management PodcastTM.

Angela Mestre, PMP - Houston, TX, USA

The PrepCast is a great product that you can literally listen to a small chunk at a time - something you would normally not be able to do by picking up a book and reading. I tried it while doing housekeeping, shopping, driving, and jogging, just be careful don’t fall asleep on it…yes I did that too. :) Cornelius’s voice is very clearn and he is very thorough, although the first few episodes were very slow moving, it did pick up along the way, and I like the practical experiences and examples that made the rather dry material enjoyable. Cornelius, Great job on the podcast and I deeply appreciate that you share your experiences in such a unique but effective way. And I know that I would not have gone so far without your voice urging me along the pursuement of the PMP.

Martin Pfister, PMP - Niederglatt, Switzerland

After learning quite a bit for PMP exam and studying the PMBOK I was looking for different way of learning that supports my need to learn in a very efficient and effective way using my limited time. Since I’m very busy with my familiy, friends and challenged by my projects I had not much time for studying paper based PMP preparation materials and the PMBOK. Searching on the internet I found The PM PrepCast and was excited when I was listening to it for the first time. The PM PprepCast is a tousand time worth to have compared to what you get and to what you have to spend. I was listening to the podcasts driving to work and back home. It is simply great how Cornelius lectures through the episodes, focusing on the most important things and most common pitfalls with a touch of fun and a little bit of thrill! By listesting the episodes again and again it’s really easy learning and keeps you motivated all time long. With The PM PrepCast you will definitely not fail the exam!

Xerxes Kutar, PMP - Mumbai, India

I am pleased to inform you that I have successfully cleared the PMP examination. The Premium PrepCast proved to be very valuable in preparation for the exam. The audio quality is excellent and the concepts are explained extremely well. Your unique style of teaching makes the PrepCast very entertaining. I would want to thank you and your team for this wonderful tool.

David McVey, PMP - Laguna Hills, CA USA

Thanks to your Premium PrepCast, Rita’s book and various online test I successfully passed the PMP exam on Friday. Thank you for all your continued effort.

Liston Bias, PMP - Orlando, FL, USA

I passed the PMP Exam on Saturday with a combination of the PrepCast, Ready Set Pass, local PMI chapter prep class and Rita’s flashcards over the past 6 weeks. I didn’t listen to all of the prepcast, but found it very helpful for some of the chapters I was not doing as well on in prep exams. I like how you updated information like the Professional Code of Ethics which other sources did not.

Devarajan Ramanathan, PMP - Chennai, India

Today morning, I have successfully completed the PMP exam and lot of thanks to you for the effort you spent on the PrepCast. It helped me lot to get in touch with PMBOK continuously. Since I studied after 10 years of my college I felt very difficult when I was reading the PMBOK because of lack of touch on studies. Your podcasts helped me lot to keep me awake continuously on the concepts.

I had gone through PMBOK guide once and went through Rita`s book for the exercises. Due to work pressure I couldn’t spend time daily on PMBOK and Rita`s guide, instead I heard your podcasts during my drive to work. These past 3 months you were with me on my drive.

Gary Kenyon, PMP - Swindon, Wiltshire, UK

Thanks to the Premium PrepCast, I successfully passed the PMP, together with Rita’s study guide and PMFASTrack software they are a winning combination.

I highly recommend the Premium PrepCast, it made the PMBOK guide much easier to understand, I enjoyed the presentation style and being able to listen while commuting. The Premium PrepCast saved me time and is great value for money, well done Cornelius.

Arnold Nicholson, PMP - Saint John, NB, Canada

Just a quick note to thank you for the great PrepCast. I wrote and passed the PMP test yesterday. The PrepCast was a great help in my studies.

Mary K Pedigo, PMP - Gaithersburg, DC, USA

I passed the exam, first try, on August 22. The Premium PrepCast has been very helpful. I’ve learned about PM practices as well as prepping for the exam. I’ve listened in my car and going to sleep for about 3 months. This past couple of weeks, I also listened to the parts I didn’t know as well, and when I couldn’t bear to read the PMBOK for another hour.

Jeff Paul, PMP - Pleasant Hill, CA USA

I wanted to let you know that I passed the PMP exam on Aug 15th in part due to your terrific PrepCast. I listened to the PrepCast while on my bike trainer after reading the corresponding section in the PMBOK Guide and Rita’s book. It was a terrific review since it had been several weeks since my prep course. Thank you for a terrific study tool!

Richard Royle, PMP - Vancouver, BC, Canada

I thoroughly enjoyed your Premium PrepCast. I have found huge value in listening to you while having the PMBOK open in front of me. I am a very methodical person and I found that your style and format and how you organized the course was a very good match for me.

In fact, I have found your PrepCast to be of greater value to me than than other prep materials.

There is simply no better bargain for the money. My only thought is that you might want to consider charging more money for the product

My only suggestion would be to explore producing an episode that is tailored to the reviewing phase of self study. I.E. It would be a great thing if there were a few episodes that summarized some main/important topics before the exam. Perhaps a quick review of critical ITTO’s.

Thank you for putting together such a high quality product.

David Schons, PMP - Saint Paul, MN, USA

Thank you very much. The PM Prepcast was a tremendous help. I think that I probably listened to 120 hours of the Podcast since May.

Kevin Ehring, PMP - Moraine, OH, USA

I just wanted to say thank you for all the help. I took my PMP test on Friday and passed! The PrepCast was well worth every penny and a great value. $39.99 [price in 2007], wow what a value; I spent twice that amount on just one PMP study book. I listened to the PrepCast every day on my way to and from work; I am not sure what I will listen to now.

You did a great job and you are very easy to listen to.

Jason Tolbert, PMP - Clayton, NC, USA

I passed the PMP exam on Jan 21, 2008. I used the podcast as a supplement to my study plan. This podcast was a critcal part of my success. I downloaded the prepcast to my blackberry curve mp3 phone, and I listened to it every chance I got, from driving, to working in the yard, to cleaning up around the house. One of the most critical parts of the prepcast was “demystifying” the exam, by explaining what to expect the day of the exam. Also, the advice and counsel on making a study plan and brain dump sheet was key.

Honestly, I think the prepcast is about as complete as it could be given the limitations of the medium. I like that you warn the listeners that it is meant to be a supplement and not a substitute for studying. Thank you very much for the podcast.

John K. Getty, PMP - Villa Park, IL, USA

I passed the PMP exam today, and the PM prepcast was one of my most valued resources in preparing for the test. The PM prepcast is a great way to study.

David Lynch, PMP - Greenbelt, MD, USA

Thank you so much. I can’t say enough about the PrepCast. I almost feel guilty for how little I paid for it. Listening to your PrepCast is an integral part of every day. It is helping me to feel very confident in my understanding of the PMBOK and the processes in general.

I am a college professor and approach learning quite differently than the typical student. I don’t spend a lot of time running memorization drills, but rather I look for connections and logical flow. Your discussions align with this approach well.

Bulut F. Ersavas, PMP - Istanbul, Turkey

Primarily thanks to your PM PrepCast podcasts, I am now a PMP. Due to incredible traffic in Istanbul and nature of my job, I had to drive a lot. So, I signed up for your podcasts. It was great to learn the basics from you while I was driving. It made my life much easier when studying the PMBOK guide and other written materials. Listening to the terms and concepts prior to reading the books was very beneficial.

By the way, I love your accent. Your voice and tone makes listening to the podcasts much more interesting.

Kris Williams, PMP - Knoxville, TN, USA

Thank you so much for all your help while I was studying for the PMP exam. I passed the exam this morning and wanted to let you know this would not have been possible without your PrepCast. The PrepCast was a wonderful complement to the PMBOK Guide and I would highly recommend this tool to anyone studying for the PMP exam.

Tony Thuy, PMP - Bramley, Hants, UK

I am extremely pleased to tell you that I have passed the PMP exam!

Your PrepCasts have been a great help in realising this achievement. Your teaching style is unique, you articulate perfectly, and you have made it possible for me to study anywhere plus made it so much more entertaining and effective to study for the exam.

Kurt Grishaber, PMP - Fairview, TN, USA

I sat for the PMP exam in Nashville, TN. on the 4th. I passed and did very well. I am very proud of my effort, preparation and, of course, the results. I followed all of your advice to prepare for the exam and listened to your Premium PrepCast daily. You helped me just by letting me listen to your input and recitation of the PMBOK. Many thanks. I cannot wait to apply my new knowledge to my 14 years of experience. Some company is going to get their money’s worth!!

John Woolley, PMP - Westbury, Wiltshire, UK

I am pleased to say that I have passed the PMP this morning. Using your program was a real bonus & enabled me to get a much better understanding than just books alone.

Josh Nankivel - Sioux Falls, SD, USA

The Project Management PrepCast is an extremely helpful resource when preparing for the PMP exam. I enjoy how Cornelius expands on the concepts in the PMBOK and helps tie them together for the listener. The way he lays out the content and gives examples really helps me internalize the material. The ability to study anywhere with my MP3 player allows me to fit PMP preparation into my busy life!

Josh Nankivel is the Project Coordinator and contractor for the LDCM mission, a joint project between the USGS and NASA. Josh writes about project management at www.PMStudent.com, the University of California Extension, Santa Cruz , at www.svprojectmanagement.com, and The International Community For Project Managers at projectmanagementlearningcenter.com.

Subhash Bolar, PMP - Bangalore, India

I am glad to tell you that I have cleared my PMP milestone yesterday. PMBOK became quite simple with your PrepCast with examples and guidance. I want to personally thank you and your team for the facinating study material.

Tom Gaughan - Burke, VA, USA

I am truly impressed with the value you are providing at such a low cost. It’s a pleasure to see this evidence of someone totally devoted to a profession such as yourself. Please keep it up!

Aleida Lima - Coconut Creek, FL

This podcast is invaluable! It is just like being in class with the advantage of replaying anytime I need. I am learning a lot!

Vanina Mangano - Mission Viejo, CA, USA

I recently purchased the Project Management Prepcast, and I was extremely satisfied with the product and the highly valuable information that Cornelius provided. Trying to go through the PMBOK Guide can be very challenging, and the podcast hosted by Cornelius made the information easy to digest and understand. It also provided additional information outside of the PMI Guide to prepare for the PMP Certification Exam.

I highly recommend Cornelius’ product and expertise to anyone looking for either PMP Exam Preparation, or expert knowledge in the field of Project Management.

Nitin Malhotra, PMP - Melbourne, Australia

I subscribed to your PM PrepCast a few weeks ago and thought I’d drop a short note on the excellent work you’ve done. I am feeling increasingly confident (although slightly behind my study plan!) - thanks largely to The PM PrepCast following the recommendations / suggestions you make. Incidentally, I am perhaps one of the few who’ve also undergone a face to face PMP training. This was organised by my work and although reasonable, I had this sincere belief that it wouldn’t quite prepare me for the real challenge & I went on a search on ‘what else’ was available.

It was then that I noticed you’ve come up with this PM PrepCast. In view of a) your name, which resounds gloriously in the virtual PM world and b) your extremely reasonably priced material I went with it.b

The PM PrepCast is, without argument, the best $50 (I paid AUD!) I’ve ever spent and I have no difficulty in recommending this to anyone who is serious about PMP. Of course you & I face the real challenge a few weeks down the chain when I take the exam & I’ll be sure to let you know how I go. Keep up the good work.

John McClure - Software Systems PM

I would like to let you know that in spite of all my troubles at home with a sick baby and all, your courses have meant the world to me. I can wear my iPod Shuffle to bed while comforting my sick child and listen to cost estimating and cost budgeting podcasts. This form of study allows be to be a responsible dad as well as a responsible student. I know that the PM PrepCast will allow me to prepare more thoroughly for the PMP exam.

Thanks so much.

Mahesh Bolem, PMP - Uniontown, OH, USA

The PM PrepCast has given a very good and great start for me. I can say that you read Rita and PMBOK after listening to this Podcast, you are there and everything else seems to be easy. (I also suggest “Passing the PMP Exam” - Rudd McGary, easy version to start with.)

It’s really great relief to see the congratulations screen after finishing the test. Guys it’s not tough at all, but do not make it tougher by your negligence. With little planning and easy mind sit on it for a certain time. Never quit and never postpone. The PrepCast site has given a great support for me. Thanks for The PM PrepCast.

S.S.B. Magesh Puvananthiran, PMP

Greetings!!!

I have cleared my PMP exam in my first attempt yesterday May 23, 2007. I could not thank you enough for your help with both The PM Podcast and The Premium PrepCast. I haven’t missed your single episodes till date. Your initial PM Podcasts really inspired and motivated me to pursue my PMP.

Also, the PMP resources sections helped me a lot in gathering information regarding project management.

Thanks again!!!

Sunny D’Souza - Mumbai, India

I am a subscriber to your Premium PrepCast since March. I have been regularly listening to your episodes. They are really good and make understanding the PMBOK fun.

Eliseo Pita, PMP - A Coruña, Spain

I am working on a Spanish industrial engineering company called Russula as a Project Manager. We develop projects for complete solutions for the steel industry all over the world. I am a subscriber of The PM PrepCast and I want to give you congratulations for your high quality podcast. I hear it on my MP3 player and also every day in the car while being in the traffic jams. Thanks.

Charles Harden - Vancouver, BC, Canada

I am very happy with the service! Your a great instructor!

Pradeep Kumar - Singapore

The Premium PrepCast is a great way to learn and I enjoyed it. It helped me to save a lot of time in the preparation and will recommend to anybody who is looking for an online PMP course.

Krishna Sanjeevirao - Atlanta, GA, USA

The Premium PrepCast is one of the best PMP exam preparation tools in the market, I really enjoy listening to each and every episode. I will certainly recommend it to my colleagues and friends, who wouldn’t?

Ryan Ward

I get tremendous value out of the the PM Prepcast and complimentary value with the PM Podcast. The price can’t be beat and I feel that the content is almost real-time as its not static like a book. Audio is a very portable format and great to fill in all those unproductive moments, like a commute to work. I feel comfortable that this Podcast and reading the PMBOK will prepare me well for taking the PMP exam. Overall the production quality is high and definitely no regrets.

Thanks Cornelius!

Olivier Rahier, PMP - Luxembourg

I am a faithful listener to your PM Podcast and subscribed to your Premium PrepCast last January. I am since actively preparing for the PMP exam by listening only to your PrepCast. I have also encouraged the project managers working for me to join and you may get subscriptions from all over Europe and as far as India.

I must thank you for all the hard work you put in these podcast and I congratulate you for the recent improvements in the naming structure which makes it much more easy to listen. You are my daily companion to work and during my journeys. In fact, I downloaded the last episodes yesterday in New Delhi and listened to them on my way to Korea.

Thank you again.

Justin Barstow, Columbia, SC, USA

I recently subscribed to your PM PrepCast and I wanted to tell you that I have really enjoyed the episodes I’ve listened to thus far. Your presentation style is great and the review before and after each topic is very helpful. Thanks!!

Mike Moll - Staten Island, NY, USA

I just wanted to let you know about my experiences with your podcast study material. I signed up about 30 days ago, right around the time you started releasing the catchup back issues on the weekends. I commute to work about an hour a day by bus and listen to your podcast. I had the opportunity of taking a CompTIA Project+ project management course during this time and found the material to be very familiar due to listening to your podcast. During the first day of the 4 day course, I asked to take the certification exam in Project+. To everyones surprise (except me) I easily pass the Project+ exam and am now a certified project manager. The Project+ exam covers a subset of the material covered in the PMP exam…. less emphasis on formulas in the Project+ course compared to the PMP exam. So if anyone is interested in taking the Project+ exam, your podcast could be helpful to them as well.

John Phillip Schlosser, PMP - Costa Rica

The PM PrepCast is the greatest!

I heard that The PM PrepCast now counts towards the 35 contact hours required to take the PMP exam! Even though I already have the 35 contact hours, I am really excited and happy about this great news. I’ve been listening to The PM PrepCast for a few months now. I’ve observed how you are constantly improving your services offerings ( i.e. numbering the episodes according to the PMBOK Guide chapters). It takes innovation, guts, determination and of course, PM skills to do what you did.

I’m currently studying for the PMP exam. I’m using the PMBOK guide, Rita Mulcahy’s PMP Exam Prep book and your PM PrepCast. The PrepCast is a GREAT complement to my study-plan, and it’s even greater now that it counts towards the 35 contact hours.

I’d like to commend you for a great service and a great experience. You’re a pioneer!

Pau Servera - Barcelona, Spain

To me, the Premium PrepCast is really useful to practice PM English. Thanks! It’s exactly what I needed. It is also really useful to pass the PMP Exam. It’s not enough to work only with the PrepCast but really helpful because it’s an easy way to invest extra time. You don’t have to be at your desk, you can be driving, walking, etc. The contents are ok, because they are the PMBOK and it’s what you need to prepare the exam.

Jim McCoy - Kokomo, IN, USA

I am very satisfied with my subscription.  I have a long commute back and forth from work, so I end up listening to the Premium PrepCast for at least an hour and a half every day.  It has been extremely helpful in my studies.  I am very appreciative of the accelerated release schedule that you implemented.  I plan to sign up for the exam soon, and hope to have my PMP certification completed by the end of the summer.

Mukom Tamon - Zaria, Nigeria

Prior to listening to the prepcast, i had taught some Project management topics at a business school. I find the simple INPUT, TOOLS & TECHNIQUES, OUTPUT approach very simple and a big departure from the confusing approach in a PMP studyguide from a very well know publisher that i was using. The pace of the podcast is also excellent and combined with Mr Fichtner’s imaginative use of pauses for Q&As and examples, succeeds in the very difficult task of keeping one concentrated in a medium that is traditionally linear & one-way.

I love the background music — which is non-intrusive and have listened to this podcast across 2 different African countries (Cameroon and Nigeria) on the road, up in the mountains and in my bed in the dark when I couldn’t sleep. Together with the Project Management podcast, i find the prepcast not only valuable for preparing for the PMP but also for grounding oneself in the general practices and principles of project management (these two are my primary resource for an upcoming project I may be involved in soon).

In summary, I’d say this is as close as it gets to putting the PMBoK guide in a syringe and pumping it into one’s brain. 5/5 thumbs up.

Hashim Adib - Dubai, UAE

I have downloaded the first 77 episodes and listened to them one by one up to the Quality series. So far I found the PrepCast to be an amazing product and very informative. I study the PMBOK at night then listen to the PrepCast material in the morning on my drive way to work. Thus I can overprint the knowledge to my mind. I’m working hard to complete the study and then take your test and receive the 30 hours accreditation.

I love the PrepCast. I am using the MP3s on my Creative Zen and have listened to the overview, the high level material and the integration audios several times. My plan is to read the book PMP in Depth once (Process Group flow) and listen to the audios that go along with the book. Then read RMC’s PMP Exam Prep twice (Knowledge Area flow) along with the PMBOK and your audios. Then after reading and listening to your MP3 about three times - I will begin taking Exam Simulation tests from RMC every other weekend and reviewing weak areas in between. I have paid for the exam and have scheduled to take it next January - so I feel that I am on schedule.

It was a great learning experience for PMP exam preparation with The PM PrepCast audio tool. I find PrepCast an excellent approach to prepare PMP exam. The materials presented in the tool are very clear, concise, and convenient. Price is quite affordable. I am planning to take PMP exam sometime during March 08; even though I feel I will be sufficiently prepared to take it in 1-2 weeks. Thank you for your effort in bundling the project management concepts in convenient capsules (episodes), and helping people to prepare PMP exam.

Thank you for such an excellent tool for PMP exam preparation. You are definitely helping me improve my scores on practice exams. The audio is highly effective in reinforcing textbook learning. I can study while driving, exercising or just plain relaxing in flight.

I recommend The Project Management PrepCast to anybody preparing for the PMP exam. People with active personal lifestyles, busy professionals and students alike will all find that studies are accelerated using the PrepCast. They might even “hear” Cornelius coaching them to the right answer while taking the exam!

I passed yesterday the PMP exam. I very much enjoyed listening to your podcasts both the prepcast and the public podcast. “Merci vielmol” - thanks a lot! This is great work and makes the whole process of studying for the exam so much more enjoyable.

I recently scheduled my PMP exam on March 1st, 2008 and I am pleased to announce that I have officially passed the exam on my first try. I am on a lengthy project which has required extensive travel between Atlanta, my home town, and Houston every week. Needless to say your PMP Podcast was an extremely important tool to have within my study arsenal. I often spent hours in Airports and at 30,000 feet during the 2 hour flight time between cities listening to your educational audio series. I stepped through each of your chapters which strengthened all of the concepts of PMI Foundations and Processes.

Your study materials are exceptional in quality and I definitely enjoyed the audio lessons. Your teaching style is very easy to follow and materials aligned perfectly with the PMBoK guide. You and your team should be extremely proud of the final product, as it is quite a success! I plan to recommend the PMP Prepcast to my management team and other co-workers who are considering certification in this area of expertise.
